George Morson has worked for 40 years in the financial services industry. George obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) from the University of Toronto and holds the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C), and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). George began his career in insurance managing a branch office for North American Life and Travellers Insurance, twice winning Manager of the Year from Travellers Canada. In the late 1980’s George left Travellers to help found Chambers Wilson Morson Insurance Brokers Ltd.; a full-service multi-line insurance and financial services practice in Oakville for over 25 years. Following the retirement of his partners, George is now the senior partner at Morson Deimling Financial Services.

One of George’s core beliefs, and a central pillar of Morson Deimling Financial Services is creating a consistent approach across an investor’s entire financial portfolio. George firmly believes in matching his client's current financial situation and their life goals to a compatible investment strategy, insurance coverage and tax plan. Drawing on his extensive knowledge, George enjoys working with clients to create a tax efficient portfolio that will help to protect their assets in retirement, as well as in the transfer of wealth to beneficiaries. Taking this responsibility to heart, George has helped many clients save on taxes, sometimes retroactively helping new clients take advantage of credits they were unaware of, and to protect their assets through some of the most trying stages of life.
